More Branding Exercises

    This image is from a late November Adobe Illustrator Daily Challenge on branding. We made up a fictional diner famous for it’s all-day breakfasts and developed logos, menus, coasters, gift cards, posters, stickers, Instagram stories, and additional products for sale. These take-home coffee packets were the culmination of the exercises.

   I made the three flat designs in Ai, using a coffee pot/coffee bean stock image from Adobe. The diner logo is from scratch as is the gradient background. I then popped the flat art bard over to a zip top package template from Adobe in Photoshop. I still haven’t found a good way to use templates in Ai — or is it  that I haven’t found a good template or don’t have enough skill to make one myself?? At any rate, I put the three branded coffee packages on a table from PixelSquid; just like the shelves and tables in the Sunshine Diner :-) 

    Take care and stay well. I’m staying away from the art center this month to try and avoid exposure to the non-maskers who partied over the holidays.
